Fancy Damask

I didn't get any stamping done this weekend so I thought I'd share a project from last weekend. On another forum I sometimes visit, people were posting pictures of what they had done with Heidi Swapp damask stickers. I took a look at their creations and thought "I can do that with PTI stamps!"

So I started with a Spring Moss card. I liked it so well, I did a Berry Sorbet one. And so on and so on. Some have more pearls than others. And all have a different sentiment. A quick way to add to my stash of cards.

I hope you enjoy. Thanks for stopping by.

Supplies:
Stamps: Mixed Messages, Damask Designs, Fancy Flourishes
Card Stock: Stampers Select White, Spring Moss, Berry Sorbet, Ocean Tides, Melon Berry, Plum Pudding
Ink: Fresh Snow, Spring Moss, Berry Sorbet, Ocean Tides, Melon Berry, Plum Pudding
Patterned Paper: Bitty Dot Basics, Black & White Basics
Miscellaneous: Butterfly die, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, pearls, ciecle punches, Marvy scallop circle punch, white embossing powder

Compose a Card 6

This was my third time playing with Becky's Compose a Card Challenge. I found this one to be the most difficult. I think the limited number of pieces and colors (one layer, one ribbon, one button and embossing powder) caused my creativity to freeze up. It took many miles on the elliptical and treadmill before I came up with the tiniest of ideas. Yes, I design cards in my head while working out. It eases the boredom of working out 7 days a week. And makes the time go by much faster.

Anyhow, the colors always said "Wedding card" to me so I used that as a starting point. I used my new Nestabilities and found some beads and charms to finish this off.

Supplies:
Stamps: PTI Fancy Flourishes, Wedding Day
Cardstock: Enchanted Evening, Soft Stone
Ink: Enchanted Evening, Fresh Snow
Miscellaneous: Embossing powder, Satin Enchanted Evening Ribbon, Vintage button, Stampin' Up silver cord, charms and beads from Michaels, Nestabilities.
